My little brother got married this weekend! Friday night was the rehearsal dinner and with the smaller crowd we all thought it would be a good idea to take some family photos. It's not ever day that we are all together.

SNOW?! I LOVE COLORADO WEATHER

One thing we looked forward to with moving back to Colorado was the weather. Unlike Tennessee and Georgia you can really enjoy the summer and be comfortable doing it. Walks outside anytime of the day...Dinners outside on the patio... Afternoon showers are gone in a short time leaving a nice comfortable evening. And if you don't like the weather just wait a few minutes and it will probably change.

Snow?

Well, not exactly... Last night we woke up at midnight to a storm with lots of thunder, lightning and hail... This looks more like snow than the few times it "snowed" in Tennessee!

Jacob's Birthday Party July 19

Jacob turned 15 yesterday. To celebrate we invited family and friends over to our new house. We were concerned the weather would not cooperate, but after some early afternoon showers it turned out to be a great evening.

Moving

I am so glad to be done with the hard part!! We loaded up the truck in Georgia July 1 & 2...

Steve and Jacob were amazing!

Our truck arrived in Colorado Springs on Wednesday July 8. We were glad to have it make it ahead of schedule so we can start getting settled in.

Thank you so much to everyone who came to help! We never could have done it without you all! Now the real fun begins. As I type this I am looking at more boxes than I can count. You never know just how much stuff you have until you have to move it all.

It is nice to be back "home". While waiting for our stuff to get here we have been able to spend a lot of time with family and friends. It's really great to see everyone again and catch up.
