Cheyenne Mountain Zoo

Saturday was such a beautiful day we decided to go the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. I can't even remember the last time we had gone, things were so different from the last time I was there...and what better place to try out the new lens for my camera!

One of the best parts of the day was the Grizzly Bear.

It was like he was trying to show off and kept posing for us.

The last time we went to the zoo, the Budgie Buddies exhibit was not there. Being able to walk around, surrounded by all the free-flight birds was interesting.

A couple of times we came across a chipmunk roaming around...

Whether he was tired or playing dead, I'm not sure but he only stopped for a moment before taking off again

The boys had a great time playing games all night...and into the morning. They finally fell asleep around 6:30 am, though I am no sure how they managed that...
