IAFF Fallen Fire Fighter Memorial Service

Today was the 25th Annual International Association of Fire Fighters Fallen Fire Fighter Memorial service. Located at Memorial Park, the service recognizes the fire fighters from Canada and the US that have died in the line of duty. 87 names were added to wall this year, including one from Colorado Springs and one from Lake Charles, LA. The wall now has the names of 2,497 fallen fire fighters that have died since 1976.

The street was closed off, lined with fire engines from all around Colorado

Each of the 87 names were read. Following that the families were presented with a flag.
